Rijo Philip

Dr. Philip as someone who really listens and cares for them. Because no two patients are alike, he treats each patient individually, tailoring treatment to their individual condition. Dr. Philip is devoted to Osteopathic Medicine and the benefits it can bring to his patients.

Rijo Philip is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). He is known for providing thoughtful, patient-centered care with a strong focus on listening and long-term wellness.

A North Texas native, Dr. Philip earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. During medical school, he also completed a predoctoral fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He later completed his Family Medicine residency at The Wright Center in Washington, DC.

With nearly 20 years of experience in OMT, Dr. Philip treats patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. He believes osteopathic manipulation can help improve function, reduce pain, and support the body’s natural ability to heal.

Dr. Philip has been recognized multiple times as a “Top Doc” in Southlake. He was also recently selected by local physicians as Best in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.

Personal Life

Dr. Philip is married to Megan, and together they have three children: Mariyam, Joseph, and Magdalene. He enjoys serving the North Texas community and caring for families through every stage of life.

Education

In addition to his medical training, Dr. Philip earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University, graduating summa cum laude.

He also completed several years of seminary formation and earned a Master’s degree in theology. These experiences continue to shape his compassionate and holistic approach to patient care.
